Three Novellas Telling The Stories of Former Secondary Characters

Each of the three novellas in this anthology tell the stories of secondary characters from other Diana Palmer novels.
TOM WALKER is the story of Tom and Elysia Nash. Elysia is a widow with a young daughter who comes back into Tom's life. Tom knew her in New York and the two had a one night stand. Now they meet again. This was a story that was really good but would have been better at a longer length. Tom's issues were too deep to really be addressed in this short version. The story is connected to BETRAYED BY LOVE.
DREW MORRIS tells the story of Dr. Drew Morris and his new receptionist Kitty Carson. Drew is a widower who lost his beloved wife and has no intention of loving again. At the same time, he cannot forget his sweet receptionist. This was my favorite. I thought the story of these two was difficult and complex but also sweet. This novella is connected with COLTRAIN'S PROPOSAL.
JOBE DODD is the story of Jobe Dodd and Sandy Regan. Jobe and Sandy fight all the time. Of course, their antagonism masks their intense attraction to one another. I didn't like Sandy in this novella. She seemed stuck up and insulting. The story turned too fast to be satisfying to me. This novella is connected with REGAN'S PRIDE.
A LONG, TALL TEXAN SUMMER is the sixteenth book in the Long, Tall Texans series. It can be read as a standalone but there are numerous connections with the characters in these books.
I give this book 3.5 stars.

I enjoyed reading this book very much. I would recommend this book to others to read. Love to read books by this author.

All three stories are good

Or I would not be reading them. I especially loved Drew's story it follows "Coltrain's Proposal" which followed "That man Burke". By now we all know why we love this author's stories even though I wish she would use new phrases and descriptions instead of the same borrowed ones. At least Drew drove a Mercedes instead of a Jaguar which most of her heroes drive. Oh well!
